Today is a great day for all JobiJoba’s team, as a celebration of our second birthday, we are releasing three brand new versions. You can now access tons of “empleos” with a dedicated version for Spanish job seekers, as well as an US version for your Job search in the US, and an update of JobiJoba UK that gives you access to more than 200k top jobs.

JobiJoba.com, your job search engine has been promoted as one of the Top 10 start-ups in Europe during Innovate!Europe. This event was organised last week by the Guidewire Group. After a review of more than 300 companies from all over Europe and Israël, the analysts from Guidewire have invited the most promising participants from the Going Global workshop to participate in Innovate!Europe’s Master Class, which was held 4-6 May 2009 in Zaragoza, Spain.
We had a lot of great time with all the mentors speaking about our international growth and meeting great entrepreneurs.
We presented our data understanding approach to the mentors and the participants. We got a great feedback since we are able to provide the most comprehensive job search results thanks to our data analysis. As we are redrirecting higly qualified trafic to job boards and newspapers classifieds web sites, we believe the mentors of Innovate!Europe liked our performance based model as much as our clients. 
We are glad to tell you that we are opening our search engine for Jobs in the UK in a few days. Stay tuned…
As we are getting in touch with a lot of job boards, newspapers and classifieds websites in the UK, we receive a lot of positive feedback about our job search engine. Lots of job boards form United Kingdom have helped us a lot by giving us access to their feeds and sharing their vision of online recruiting. This sounds great to us, because that’s how we built really cool features in our French version (Resume multiposting for example) to maximize the ROI for job boards. I hope we will be able to set up some of their great ideas soon.
All our teams have been impressed on how involved the “jobboarders” from UK and the US are in the JobiJoba process. Therefore our index is growing faster than we thought. With this post I would like to thank our new partners. We are to provide a pretty smart job searching experience.
We are deeply convinced that finding a job shouldn’t be that hard. Job listings are everywhere : on blogs, on job boards, on newspapers, and for God Sake this is quite a good thing, because with a lot of work and dedication you can find your next dream job. But ouch, we do believe this task is too hard!
What if you want to keep an eye on your next job opportunity? When I was searching for jobs I didn’t want to check fifty five websites to get my job offer.
“I want them all to be sure to get mine” ! That’s typically what Jobijoba.com is all about… We are indexing Jobs from thousands of sources to bring all jobs listing and merge them all together. But that’s not the only thing we do. We are working on several smart robots which understand the content we crawl. Therefore we are able to detect that if a candidate is searching for job as a “Product manager at Micosoft”, he would probably be pleased to see marketing jobs in the software industry as well.
This part of a semantic approach we have. We need to have a large amount of data to be sure to do this. That’s why we are collecting Jobs from partners right now to feed our robots. If you have a job board, feel free to visit our “Add your Jobs” page. We’ll get back to you.

Indeed, we are running a job search engine that crawls thousands of job listings a day to get them all in one place : JobiJoba.com. We have launched our beta in France back in 2007. With a great adoption from job boards and candidates, we are now preparing our next release in the UK and other countries. That’s why we are getting more world wide with this blog.
