Why a search engine for jobs ?

We are deeply convinced that finding a job shouldn’t be that hard. Job listings are everywhere : on blogs, on job boards, on newspapers, and for God Sake this is quite a good thing, because with a lot of work and dedication you can find your next dream job. But ouch, we do believe this task is too hard!

What if you want to keep an eye on your next job opportunity? When I was searching for jobs I didn’t want to check fifty five websites to get my job offer.

I want them all to be sure to get mine” ! That’s typically what Jobijoba.com is all about… We are indexing Jobs from thousands of sources to bring all jobs listing and merge them all together. But that’s not the only thing we do. We are working on several smart robots which understand the content we crawl. Therefore we are able to detect that if a candidate is searching for job as a “Product manager at Micosoft”, he would probably be pleased to see marketing jobs in the software industry as well.

This part of a semantic approach we have. We need to have a large amount of data to be sure to do this. That’s why we are collecting Jobs from partners right now to feed our robots. If you have a job board, feel free to visit our “Add your Jobs” page. We’ll get back to you.
